Government Climate Partners at the ECOWAS Parliament
Government Climate Partners wishes to express its deep gratitude to the ECOWAS Parliament for its invitation and for the quality of the exchanges held in Accra.
This visit marked a particularly significant moment for GCP, featuring several bilateral meetings, high-level institutional exchanges and our active participation in a round table devoted to governance, resilience and climate finance.
We were honoured to present the vision of Government Climate Partners: supporting states in structuring their climate ambitions, facilitating access to relevant expertise and international partners, and helping to build credible, investable and lasting projects.
Our conviction is clear: carbon markets, Article 6, climate finance and nature-based solutions should not be approached as mere technical mechanisms. They can become genuine instruments of sovereignty, development, capital mobilisation and value creation in the service of populations.
Africa holds considerable natural, human and economic assets. The challenge now is to create the frameworks, partnerships and tools needed to turn this potential into resilient and sustainable development pathways.
It is in this spirit that Government Climate Partners wishes to place its network, facilitation capacity and expertise at the service of governments and institutions seeking to structure the climate policies of tomorrow.
We once again thank the ECOWAS Parliament for its invitation, for the quality of its welcome and for the opportunity we were given to contribute to this collective reflection.
In the service of states. In the service of climate. In the service of future generations.
